Summary: .ONESHELL:, -n option (--print-only) and the $(MAKE) variable Project: make Submitted by: None Submitted on: Tue 07 Jul 2015 06:47:12 AM UTC Severity: 3 - Normal Item Group: Bug Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Component Version: 3.81 Operating System: None Fixed Release: None Triage Status: None _______________________________________________________ Details: .ONESHELL: causes an occurence of $(MAKE) in *any* recipe line to undo the effect of the -n option (--print-only) on *all* recipe lines. I do not believe that is correct behavior. Please see attached Makefile for example and more details. _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Tue 07 Jul 2015 06:47:12 AM UTC Name: Makefile.debug-print-only Size: 2kB By: None <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=34389> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?45486> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Bug-make mailing list Bug-make@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-make
