Follow-up Comment #1, bug #45477 (project make):
AFAIK, we don't have a Cygwin maintainer on board, and I don't have Cygwin
installed on my system. So even if I could come up with a suitable fix, I
cannot test it.
Therefore, a tested patch to fix this from a Cygwin user will be highly
appreciated.
