Follow-up Comment #2, bug #36987 (project make): You mean it is all a firefox/mozilla issue? Or perhaps debian? It certainly is too, but I thought the Gnash project cared about the player being compatible with the most commonly used flash pluging package for powerpc. There are not many alternatives if any. What would be the point of a default flashplayer if it doesn`t work with default browser? The lubuntu team points to debian for any responsibility, Debian to Gnash, and the Gnash project would rather not have anything to do with it either?
I know powerpc is old and there is no money in them anymore. There are a lot of iBooks still alive out there, they run fine with a light weight linux distro, the only difficult issues really are flash and media streams in browser. I think the issue is not lubuntu alone, but a bug common to all debian based distros, it is the same in mintppc too, which is debian. Hard to find a person willing and able to take a look at the issue.
