Summary: rc1 always rebuild Linux kernel sources (even after a just completed compile) Project: make Submitted by: srivasta Submitted on: Sun 03/05/06 at 08:50 Severity: 3 - Normal Item Group: Bug Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Component Version: CVS Platform Version: None Fixed Release: None _______________________________________________________ Details: Hi, This has been reported by several debian users. I tried to compile the kernel (2.6.15 and 2.6.15.4) but make fails to restart where it stopped; it restarts compilation from the very beginning, as though none of the targets were newer. Make version 3.80+3.81-rc1-1 always rebuilds the kernel even if it's just previously been built. 3.80+3.81.b4-1 does not have this problem. Something happened between beta4 and RC1 manoj _______________________________________________________ Carbon-Copy List: CC Address | Comment ------------------------------------+----------------------------- [EMAIL PROTECTED] | _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=16002> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Bug-make mailing list Bug-make@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-make
