I've just tested a simple Makefile with drive letters on OS/2
which seems to work as expected:
---------
all: d:\test\foo.o d:\test\foo.exe
d:\test\foo.o d:\test\foo.exe: d:\test\foo.c d:\test\foo.h
echo $@ : $^
---------
Produces the output (make 3.81beta1):
echo d:\test\foo.exe : d:\test\foo.c d:\test\foo.h
d:\cpp\test\foo.exe : d:\test\foo.c d:\test\foo.h
echo d:\test\foo.o : d:\test\foo.c d:\test\foo.h
d:\test\foo.o : d:\test\foo.c d:\test\foo.h
