I notice that the environment variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH is not passed to make like all the other variables. The value is always null!
This is very weird, since I can't find any reference to it in the make code. There is no reference in the info or man pages to any special treatment. I see that when bash calls another program or script, it is passed down, so it isn't anything bash is doing. Any explanation for this behavior?
