Good evening,

Since the last upload of gnumach in Debian, labelled 2:1.8+git20251228-1,
rumpdisk is no longer working for me. I'm using the 32 bit uniprocessor version
directly on hardware. I see the following messages during boot:

[1.0000050] piixide0 at pci0 dev 31 function 1: Intel 828801FB IDE Controller
(ICH6) (rev. 0x03)
[1.0000050] piixide0: bus-master DMA support present
[1.0000050] piixide0: primary channel configured to compatibility mode
irqhelp: tried acpi to get pci gsi and failed for 00:1f.1
irq handler [14]: new delivery port d73bdc80 entry dec79ee0 for rumpdisk
[1.0200050] atabus0 at piixide0 channel 0
[1.0200050] atabus0: unable to create kernel thread: error 35
[1.0200050] piixide0: secondary channel configured to compatibility mode
[1.0200050] piixide0: secondary channel ignored (disabled)
[61.8300050] waiting for devices: atabus0

The last message repeats every 61 seconds.

Is there anything else I could do to provide more information about this
problem?

I'm also seeing other problems with this gnumach version when running with
in-kernel IDE drivers, for example running aptitude crashes with message:

Uncaught exception: Not enough resources to create thread

Best regards,
João
