It supports a hook called `LWIP_HOOK_IP4_ROUTE_SRC` which allows us to implement custom routing. I'm already using it to ensure the old isc-dhcpcd client packets pass through the stack and reach the wire. So there's room for proper routing in the future, maybe with a routing translator. It would be a good idea for a GSoC project.
