Greetings! The results are finally out, and it appears that my project proposal has been accepted for the GCC!
I would like to thank you all that contributed in one way or another. Special thanks go to both Ian Lance Taylor and Thomas Schwinge for accepting the proposal, taking the time to mentor me, and giving me the chance to participate in the development of these two fantastic pieces of software (both the GCC and the HURD).
