Hi everyone, Since it is no longer required for new installations, and I'm switching servers, I intend to discontinue the Debian GNU/Hurd mirror at jk.fr.eu.org.
If you installed Hurd using Debian-Installer, it is possible that your /etc/apt/sources.list file still contains lines such as: deb http://jk.fr.eu.org/debian/hurd-installer/mirror unstable main deb-src http://jk.fr.eu.org/debian/hurd-installer/mirror unstable main In this case, replace them with an official Debian mirror + debian-ports. For instance: deb http://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian unstable main deb-src http://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian unstable main deb http://ftp.debian-ports.org/debian unreleased main deb-src http://ftp.debian-ports.org/debian unreleased main The mirror will be taken offline some time next week. After that, users with old sources.list entries will no longer be able to upgrade their system until they make the above modifications. If you think this is too disruptive and the mirror should stay up for the time being, please object now and I'll deploy my scripts[1] on the new server.
