Ahum. I implemented xattr as extension of ISO 9660 + Rock Ridge
but know few about ext2 internals. So for now i will give it a rest.
If xattr and ACL cannot be used in the filesystem, then xorriso has no
urge to backup and restore them.

which says

I'm new user, i'm a programmer, and xattr is system specific.
