Any idea how many packages failing to build due to the problems with fakeroot? What about build of the latest version of fakeroot? The Hurd version is 1.12.4 while the Linux version is 1.15.1. Compiling ghc6 as root just hang under kvm. It had been running for quite a long time now without having to do a hard reset.
