First, we could import some of these translators into the main Hurd repositories, but not all, due to copyright reasons: not all authors have assigned their copyright to the FSF. Then, this (implicit) CVS -> Git request is to be discussed on the hurdextras-hackers mailing list, <https://savannah.nongnu.org/mail/?group=hurdextras>. If there is consensus, then I can work on the conversion. Aside: I'll try to allocate some time to convert the missing bits of the main Hurd CVS repository to Git, such as procfs. > They have some very interesting translators, and these should be easily > available. > > And easily doesn’t mean cvs :) $ cvs -d :pserver:anon...@cvs.savannah.gnu.org:/cvsroot/hurdextras co . That'll get you all of 'em. That's as simply as it can be, isn't it? (Though, I'm not meaning to advocate continued use of CVS.) ;-) Regards, Thomas
