For the curious ones: these questions are from the questionnaire I once put up at <http://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/contributing/questionnaire.html>. If you have suggestions or ideas about how to improve that one, please simply change or add them. > I would like to contribute in "Porting Packages", I have previous > experience of creating Debian GNU/Linux packages from source. OK, that's fine for starters. As referenced from <http://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/hurd/running/debian/porting.html>, there is a list of packages that need work at <http://unstable.buildd.net/buildd/hurd-i386_Failed.html>. The former page also has additional information about porting issues. Of course, not all packages are considered likewise important, so you could ask on <debian-h...@lists.debian.org> if you're unsure which one to start with. > - How is your expertise about system and kernel programming? > > I have basic knowledge about system and kernel programming. Have fun exploring these! Regards, Thomas
