Yes, the patch is not getting applied. "apply_gcc_patches" doesn't work in the Makefile. Anyways, I wrote the Makefile to get an understanding of the build. I shall now write bash scripts to replace the Makefile, similar to crosstool, so you can select different versions of binutils, gcc, glibc etc. and also specify patches, if needed to build future versions of toolchains.
