Summary: Mach messages don't show up when the console is started Project: The GNU Hurd Submitted by: sthibaul Submitted on: vendredi 07.09.2007 à 23:31 Category: Hurd Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: None Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Reproducibility: Every Time Size (loc): None Planned Release: None Effort: 0.00 Wiki-like text discussion box: _______________________________________________________ Details: When the console is started, if Mach prints messages the cursor gets moved but nothing appears. That's because the console uses the a000-b000 portion of video ram. Also, because the console supports unicode, the letters that Mach prints would actually show up as randomly chosen glyphs. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?20999> _______________________________________________ Message posté via/par Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Bug-hurd mailing list Bug-hurd@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-hurd
