Doing so on a Hurd system will get you an endlessly looping output like this on the console: #v+ Resource lost /libexec/runsystem: line 116: /bin/sh: (ipc/send) invalid port right Resource lost /libexec/runsystem: /libexec/rc: /bin/bash: bad interpreter: (ipc/send) invalid port right [...] #v- The system is still usable, but very slowly.
