Hello,
/* I have posted the following mail on both bug-hurd and help-hurd as I am
not aware which is the appropriate list. */
As part of my project I am working on " Make GNU Mach use more up to date
device drivers https://savannah.gnu.org/task/?5488 "
I have been looking at the Linux device drivers but the feasibilty of using
FreeBSD drivers appears better. I have been posed with the following
question. Can someone please point me out as to what are the licensing
options. Thanks in advance.

just curious: you are going to take BSD code and port it to HURD.
What license will you be releasing it under? Will the BSD stuff
remain under BSD license with your changes only under GPL? Or are you
going to fork and license the bsd stuff also under GPL? Interesting
to see what the consequences of this are.
