Hello! Just thought I'd make a comment on the CVS commits I made yesterday and how I intend to proceed.
The code isn't at all very substantial, it's pretty much a struct, a couple of defines, some very basic functions and a test, i.e. just some infrastructure for things to come. In terms of progress please view it as a token of me having learned the ropes, as well as going through parts of libstore's basic functionality to identify which parts I can use. Since it's not very substantial it's probably all correct and such, but please go over the code anyway and see if you can spot any bad practises or similar so I can nip any such problem in the bud. With this out of the way I hope to be able to pick up some momentum. For my next step I plan to get a basic channelio translater working, by basing it on storeio and taking the buffering code from streamio. Then I'll move on to enable the use of substores, encoding channels for sending over RPC and ripping any class from libstore that is relevant for channels. After this I will have stripped libstore of it's usefull parts and can begin extending libchannel beyond simply a stripped down libstore. Any comment is appreciated.
