Hello! I just had this idea, but so far haven't validated whether that is possible at all.
When running a GNU/Hurd system on Xen, is it still required to have the kernel (Mach) provide the e.g. block and network device drivers? If I understand this issue correctly, such a device driver in a Xen domU is ``only'' forwarding the requests to the Xen hypervisor. Could this also be done from userspace and could we thus have to-be-written translators sitting on `/dev/hd*' and `/dev/eth*'? Regards, Thomas
