But those things (whether true or not) are not relevant. You don't get to declare policy, any more than George Bush does. Pointing out that George Bush is a nasty human being doesn't somehow turn you into the decider-for-gnumach. I'm simply reminding people of this fact. But this prompts me to say that, in my judgment, Thomas Schwinge should be invited if he is willing to be an official approver of patches. This was discussed last fall, but it did not reach a final decision, in part because my work load became extremely heavy. Thomas, if you are willing, please say so, and then we'll declare this official. Marcus and Roland have already agreed this is sensible, so there was no reason for delay except that my workload caused it to get bumped from my attention-queue.
