No, it is a paradigmatic example of a vague abstract question, akin to asking "What is Unix"? > I am not asking what I should work on, I have repeated this on > several ocassions now, I'm asking what the direction of the Hurd > project is. There is nothing vauge about it. You are just trying > to evade the question. Good grief, you've proceeding from insulting Marcus to insulting me. You're so busy asking the same thing over and over again, that you are not listening to anything anyone's saying. There is no one thing called "the direction of the Hurd project". If you are insisting that there is, and we just won't tell you, you are wrong. If you are insisting that there should be, then you should not pretend you are asking what it is. If you are making the statement, "I want there to be a direction, but I don't know the best direction," then welcome to the club! It seems what you *want* to do is berate people for not providing an answer to a question which we don't have, which you don't have, and which aren't even willing to help answer, because you've decided that it's someone else's job to answer it. Hint: there is no agreement about what the best direction to go is. Now, do you want to help us figure out what the best direction would be?
