(I realise that Debian/Hurd is work in progess :-)) Sort of. e2fsprogs now builds the /sbin/fsck wrapper itself, so it should not be build by the Hurd package anymore. A new hurd package should be uploaded to fix this. In the meantime, you can either put e2fsprogs on hold, or force the installation with dpkg -i --force-overwrite $DEB.deb. (Do not use --force-* options unless absolutely necessary, they almost always mark bugs or misconfigurations) Michael -- <ams> I think I will start using gnome.. --------------------------------------- Received: (at 272655-close) by bugs.debian.org; 9 Oct 2004 16:38:17 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Oct 09 09:38:17 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from newraff.debian.org [208.185.25.31] (mail) by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1CGKEb-0004Cl-00; Sat, 09 Oct 2004 09:38:17 -0700 Received: from katie by newraff.debian.org with local (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1CGK8f-0003UV-00; Sat, 09 Oct 2004 12:32:09 -0400 From: Michael Banck <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: $Revision: 1.51 $ Subject: Bug#272655: fixed in hurd 20040508-4 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: Archive Administrator <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Sat, 09 Oct 2004 12:32:09 -0400 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-6.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,HAS_BUG_NUMBER autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: Source: hurd Source-Version: 20040508-4 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of hurd, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: hurd-dev_20040508-4_hurd-i386.deb to pool/main/h/hurd/hurd-dev_20040508-4_hurd-i386.deb hurd_20040508-4.diff.gz to pool/main/h/hurd/hurd_20040508-4.diff.gz hurd_20040508-4.dsc to pool/main/h/hurd/hurd_20040508-4.dsc hurd_20040508-4_hurd-i386.deb to pool/main/h/hurd/hurd_20040508-4_hurd-i386.deb A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached.
