Patch #1810 has been updated. Project: Category: None Status: Open Summary: Adds support for bell broadcasting (console, libcons)
Follow-Ups: Date: Mon 08/11/2003 at 22:54 By: marco_g Comment: This patch does exactly what is descibed in task #2502. The VC number is not used yet, but I've added it to the protocol. This patch adds the --extern-bell argument to libcons. It is switched off by default. Is --extern-bell a good long name or does someone have a better idea? should I increase the protocol version number? ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Mon 08/11/2003 at 23:12 By: marco_g Comment: I forgot hurd/console.h. I've included this and a changelog entry. ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Fri 08/15/2003 at 23:09 By: marcus Comment: This needs to be redesigned. Global bell events should be more like evens indicating a change to the screen matrix, ie use a union structure to name the console in question. There is no need to keep a count of such global bell events. If there are so many that we can't keep up, we will miss a few, but then it's probably better that way. ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- For more info, visit: http://savannah.gnu.org/patch/?func=detailpatch&patch_id=1810&group_id=30 _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Bug-hurd mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-hurd
