Hello,

I would like to help with the project, specifically on the ppc side of it. The
problem, though, is that I have a ibook dual usb which is not capable of running
mklinux. I have read through the archives and seen darwin mentioned a few times
as a possible way to get the hurd running on late model ppc hardware. From what
I understand the darwin kernel is not compatable with the mach interface though.
My question is: would it be possible to use the darwin kernel as a starting
point for getting the hurd to run on more recent ppc hardware, and, if so does
anyone have any desire to help with this project, or at least provide any
helpful pointers to a newbie in the kernel programming area?

Thanks in advance.
Kyle
