Great! I have already integrated the "glibc-hurd-powerpc.patch" part of the changes into libc. I am doing some rearranging of the libc code while integrating your changes, to reduce copied code and so forth, and various other nits. I am not yet able to try compiling for ppc, so I may have introduced some stupid problems.
When next you have the time to work more on libc, please start from the current cvs version of libc to reconcile your changes (see http://sources.redhat.com/glibc/ for how to get the current cvs state). Relative to 2.2.4, I think the current state will only be easier to work with (i.e. numerous bugs have been fixed), so I hope this won't be any extra work for you. By the way, I want to thank you very much for separating your changes into patches separate topical groups, i.e. ppc stuff vs osfmach stuff. This makes it much easier for me to deal with each piece on its own and get it into the best form. Of course, I also want to thank you again for working on the port. It's very exciting! _______________________________________________ Bug-hurd mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-hurd
