I can reproduce this, and it is pretty bad, because I loose the connection
to the remote box (further attempts to telnet in just hang at "Trying
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx")
There is definitely something funny going on with the current pfinet server.
I think this might be related to my problems with Perl's LWP modules.
(FTP transfer don't work)
It's probably back to the old pfinet server for me on the autobuilder (hope
that'll not throw up some other problems).
I am using a quite out-dated glibc (Debian 2.1.3-8, which dates back to CVS
2000-02-24), although this probably doesn't matter.
People with experience in the messy details here are invited to debug this :)
As Roland said: "I know you'll all want to be dears and debug the TCP problem
for me." Don't disappoint him.
