That's a good question. The last version that anyone at GNU seems to know about is 0.7.0. They never made any release announcement for 0.7.2 in any of the usual channels and by not uploading to ftp.gnu.org they took away the opportunity for us to find out automatically about the change by scripting means. Are we sure that the 0.7.2 that you linked to is by the GNU gforth maintainers and does not represent some kind of fork?
