I gave into my curiosity at work: with all the external dependencies included, it would be around 1.3gb right now, which isn't so bad. I could restrict the full-source release to just the quarterly snapshot releases (next one around April 1). Then the option is to either: a) release two tarballs, one with the pre-fetched packages and one without; or b) one tarball with all the pre-fetched packages and if you don't want those, you can use the bzr repo. -brandon
