Follow-up Comment #2, bug #68193 (group groff): Hi,
Yes, here is the ESC/P2 reference manual from Epson. It details ESC/P as well as ESC/P2 https://files.support.epson.com/pdf/general/escp2ref.pdf . I think there are a couple of ESC/P(2) printer emulators available: - https://github.com/nzeemin/escparser?tab=readme-ov-file . MIT licensed. It uses a font derived from the ROM from an ESC/P compatible printer. I'm unaware of any licenses being on the font file itself. So that's unclear to me. - There's also dotprint under the GPL-v3.0 license. https://github.com/zub2/dotprint?tab=readme-ov-file . AFAIK it does not use proprietary fonts. - If both are unworkable, I'm also happy to test on my IBM 4247-001 which has an Epson ESC/P emulation mode (not ESC/P2, so I can't test ESC/P2) _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?68193> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
