Follow-up Comment #2, bug #45040 (project gnustep):
Solaris 5.10, SPARC v8+, gcc 4.9: does work
It really appears do be a NetBSD and OpeBSD specific issue.
I put a breakpoint in [NSException raise] but got nothing.
