Yes, the failure still occurs without the new test lines. So, it was a pre-existing test failure, unrelated to your patch. To reproduce it: $ ./gnulib-tool --create-testdir --dir=../testdir2 nstrftime c-nstrftime and compile that testdir2 on FreeBSD 14.0 (i386). Apologies. (I saw the test failures on FreeBSD 14 in the CI, but without a test-suite.log, so for investigation I picked one of my two FreeBSD 14 VMs that I happened to have turned on, and this was the 32-bit one.
