That may well be. I was talking from the perspective of this discussion thread, which is about stdio-consolesafe.c and acl_entries.c. issymlink and issymlinkat are not related to them. What I wrote was a counter- argument to Eli's claim that "we cannot use it as it is now, because it requires issymlink and issymlinkat modules" So, I don't see why issymlink and issymlinkat have been mentioned at all. If there are issues with issymlink and issymlinkat, please start by stating what the issue actually is. Bruno
