Thanks for the reports. Two different mails, instead of a single one, would
have been easier to handle for Collin and me (when copying Collin's commits
to the stable branches).

This confusion is the inevitable consequence of trying to handle two different
bugs in the same mail. Since we don't have a bug tracker for Gnulib, two
different mail threads, with different 'Subject' lines, are the better way
to keep us organized.
