On OSF/1, the functions recv(), recvfrom(), send(), sendto() are declared with an old-style declaration (return value 'int' instead of 'ssize_t', and no use of 'socklen_t') by default. The fix is easy, this time: just setting _POSIX_PII_SOCKET does it.
