NOTE: This script depends upon gnulib directory *either* being in PATH
*or* being the superior directory of the script. i.e. it can be run from
gnulib/build-aux or another subdrectory. It also presumes reasonably
recent BASH. This script is *NOT* intended to run on nearly every platform.
The project it creates *IS* intended to run on nearly every platform. So,
if you have a recent BASH, you should be able to create the project from
this shell script and the result needs testing on many platforms. On mine,
the following get installed:

usr/local/libexec/libposix/pt_chown
usr/local/include/*MANY*
usr/local/lib/libposix.la
usr/local/lib/libposix.so.0.0.0
usr/local/lib/libposix.a

Let me know how it works......
