-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 According to Albert Chin on 6/20/2008 5:52 PM: | On Redhat 7.1, Redhat 9, and RHEL 2.1 with the default compiler: | $ ./gnulib-tool --test --with-tests fseeko ftello | ... | PASS: test-binary-io.sh | ../../gltests/test-fseeko.c:58: assertion failed | ../../gltests/test-fseeko.sh: line 3: 10800 Aborted | ./test-fseeko${EXEEXT} 1 <"$srcdir/test-fseeko.sh" | FAIL: test-fseeko.sh
These have been reported before; stemming from deficiencies in older glibc's ungetc() implementation. The tests have been improved in the meantime from when it was first reported, but it would take an actual gdb session and probably the addition of a gnulib ungetc module to work around it; I'm not sure how much effort that will take. - -- Don't work too hard, make some time for fun as well!
