Would it be possible to add a feature to the gpl-[23].0 modules which provides the text of the GPL as a const char * ?
This would be useful for user interfaces which need to display the licence text, such as http://www.gtk.org/api/2.6/gtk/GtkAboutDialog.html#gtk-about-dialog-set-license It might be beneficial to have two versions, one which returns the text without the newlines, for use in user interface widgets which do their own formatting.
