I have verified that the patch works on cygwin; that if the gnulib sys/time.h replacement is created on cygwin, it no longer crashes when trying to redefine gettimeofday (and as a side note, CVS cygwin was fixed today so that the signature of gettimeofday now complies with POSIX, meaning that even in the unsupported -Werror case, cygwin 1.7.0 will no longer trigger the replacement sys/time.h due to gettimeofday). - -- Don't work too hard, make some time for fun as well!
