I know that gcc-2.7.2.1/gcc.c supports both -Wl and -Xlinker. The date on the gcc.c file is 1995-09-12 for that release. It is the oldest version of the sources for gcc-2.x I happen to have on hand. I do not believe that gcc-1.42 supported either of those switches and I believe 1.42 was the last gcc 1.x produced. -- Mark -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQFDzzHmCg7APGsDnFERAs5SAKCC+KDu5XW8DEUNwyIVqVg16kVclgCbBLXD INc7jrtBKNDg/wP6mluR7Ks= =GAX4 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ bug-gnulib mailing list bug-gnulib@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-gnulib
