Since there was general agreement I installed all the patches, except for the following files: mkdtemp.c setenv.c unsetenv.c argp-eexst.c argp-fmtstream.c argp-fmtstream.h argp-fs-xinl.c argp-xinl.c The first group of three is taken unaltered from GNU gettext. Bruno, can you please look into patching them along the lines of Ralf's patch <http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-gnulib/2005-09/gzQBa13BUM9W.gz>? The last group of five files is taken directly from libc. Ralf, can you please submit them as a glibc patch?
