Summary: On find man page mention what "sometimes" means Project: findutils Submitted by: jidanni Submitted on: Wed 26 Sep 2018 02:37:59 AM UTC Category: documentation Severity: 3 - Normal Item Group: None Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 4.6.0 Fixed Release: None _______________________________________________________ Details: find man page says: If any invocation returns a non-zero value as exit status, then find returns a non-zero exit status. If find encounters an error, this can sometimes cause an immediate exit, so some pending commands may not be run at all. This variant of -exec always returns true. OK but do elaborate there what the "sometimes" means. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?54731> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
