Summary: minor inconsistencies in message strings Project: findutils Submitted by: bens Submitted on: Tue 24 Sep 2013 11:48:04 AM CEST Category: xargs Severity: 3 - Normal Item Group: None Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: None Fixed Release: None _______________________________________________________ Details: In the help text of xargs, please remove the period from "logical EOF processing." for option --null, and lowercase the initial S in "Set logical EOF string" for option -E, for consistency. By the way, the man page for xargs (xargs/xargs.1) contains a space after options -e, -i, and -l (before their descriptions). I don't think those should be there. Also it could be made a little clearer that using -e without a string is exactly the same as not using -e at all; now it seems as if there is a small difference. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?40094> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
