Follow-up Comment #4, bug #14243 (project findutils): >From regex(7) (linux man pages collection http://www.win.tue.nl/~aeb/linux/man/)
-----[cut]---------- Obsolete (``basic'') regular expressions differ in several respects. `|', `+', and `?' are ordinary characters and there is no equivalent for their functionality. The delimiters for bounds are `\{' and `\}', with `{' and `}' by themselves ordinary characters. -----[cut]---------- So I guess \{ \} are part of basic regular expressions? _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=14243> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Bug-findutils mailing list Bug-findutils@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-findutils
