I've just requested that bug-coreutils traffic be routed
to the new debbugs tracker here:
http://debbugs.gnu.org/coreutils
It may be a day or two before it takes effect.
That means every post to this list will be associated with a "bug ID",
either a new one or an existing one.

and you can see that we're taking advantage of the work that's
been done by the emacs development team. Thanks again to
Glenn Morris and Chong Yidong for accommodating coreutils.
