Thanks Eygene for your answer !! I'm using cfengine 2.2.8-1, that I installed with apt-get install cfengine2 on my debian linux. So I have no sources and it's not the cfengine 2.2.9 as yours.
It seems I'm not able to use the patch without the sources and recompile ; otherwise, do you know what I could do to resolve my problem ??
