If you are tracking trunk, I'd appreciate it if you'd test out this  
patch.

This patch does nothing more than improve the normal and verbose  
output of packages commands.  I'd like for people to test this out  
and see if they like the output.

This patch exists because pretty much everyone says that they want to  
know when packages are removed or installed on a system (me too).   
This seems to be the only way to see this without using Verbose...   
clue me in if there is a way to do this I am overlooking.

Also clue me in if this is too much, not enough, etc.

FYI: I'd love to get rid of the extra blank line.  The only way I can  
think of is an explicit check for an empty line and feof(pp) which  
would duplicate the while() test.  Anyone got a better idea?
