Support for SOURCE_DATE_EPOCH was added in various places in 2023. Hopefully,
this makes passing --no-insert-timestamp to the linker unnecessary. I’m not
very familiar with the code, but it seems to me like strip will use
SOURCE_DATE_EPOCH as well.
Can you retry with a recent binutils version? If you still have issues, I’d be
happy to help debugging them.
