--- Comment #13 from Rainer Orth <ro at CeBiTec dot Uni-Bielefeld.DE> --- > --- Comment #12 from H.J. Lu <hjl.tools at gmail dot com> --- > Please try: > > https://patchwork.sourceware.org/project/binutils/list/?series=51114 I just did on amd64-pc-solaris2.11, x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, and amd64-pc-freebsd14.0: worked fine everywhere, thanks. I had another patch ready that used the PIE copyreloc form on Linux (matching gcc/configure.ac) when building no-plt-check1.o, using the GOT indirection form on non-Linux only for the last two tests, keeping the original elsewhere. However, that needed two different versions of no-plt-1[fg].dd to allow for the differences. However, if this is acceptable to you, it's obviously way easier. Btw., it's a bit confusing the there are two instances of the No PLT tests in ld.sum for two different tests. May that's something to fix in a followup? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
