Since v2.44, gold is deprecated. If nobody starts supporting it, I suppose
eventually it'll be deleted.
My question is: what happens to dwp (part of gold sources) if that happens?
Will it also get deleted, or not?
If it gets deleted, there's no point in maintaining dwp now, and it should also
be announced as deprecated.
If it won't get deleted, it'd be good to be clarify this somewhere.
